I've got this template of a jersey that needs to be redesigned. I want to create patterns and fill them it with solid colors. I thought a sketch would do, but the company recommends Adobe Illustrator 10.

Anyone know a little something about how it works? Thanks!

Yup we use Illustrator here... it's okay. It's a vector drawing package. It's powerful, but a bit unstable at times and there's a steep learning curve if you are new to it.

I'd recommend a nice Wacom graphics tablet to go with it.
