Exactly. That's why I put "ugly" in quotes. There's this new reality show on called "Average Joe." I guess the concept is looks vs personality. All these average guys are trying to get next to a gorgeous girl. My boyfriend said that the woman said that she would never date these guys under normal circumstances. This is tv. Maybe she's trying not to come off as shallow. | |

looks don't matter when it comes to love, but age does matter, imo. it's possible that people can love across the age divide, but i've seen examples of how it actually works and there are issues that seem insurmountable.
it's gross to me how many movies pair leading men who are approaching retirement with young women 20-30 years their junior, thereby condoning this double standard and setting a standard whereby women are devalued after the age of 35. just my 2c | |
