Question for the fa "N"s here.. When the hell did the Prince Music and More forum become diluted with the dreaded purple kool-aid!??!
I haven't seen so many FAMS since the Holy River!!! this isn't a flame, is it?! 
It's just something I've noticed in recent weeks... I mean..when an "obsessed" fan level newbie/orger asks if he/she should buy Purple Rain on DVD...because they haven't seen it?!?! What the hell is going on?!?!?!?!

Alot of those that post in the Prince forum are not newbies.

Amen. There are some elitists there, but there are elitists everywhere. So what if "Rave" is a top 10 Prince album for me? So what if I don't hate "Jughead?" So what if I think "Adore" and "Nothing Compares 2 U" aren't even among the top half of Prince songs. It's Prince, man. His fans are as diverse as his music. I will admit though- some of the questions are pretty funny. Mostly, though, I think it's a good place to get info and/or share thoughts and feelings about Prince's music. | |
