I will quit my crappy job today! I am giving my notice at the fast food place I work at
I took this job two years ago when I had my youngest in kindergarden and couldn't work days then I was promoted to a full time salried position then I found out how much crap they give salaried managers and resigned I stayed on as an hourly night manager This has become to much to deal with though I don't see my wife thru the week leaving her alone with the kids, and I don't get home until 2am most nights it has gotten to where I absolutely hate going in to work Maybe now I can loose some weight, nothing like a high stress job and unlimited free food Now I'm older than movies, Now I'm wiser than dreams, And I know who's there

Here is the enviorment I have worked in night after night:
Drive thru girl "What's the kids toy tonight?" Me "The leftover Gray Davis action figures." Not one person knew who I was talking about (Just for the hell of it a few weeks ago I offered a free pie to anyone who could tell me what landmark funk album was celebrating it's birthday "what's funk?" ate the pie myself) [This message was edited Tue Nov 4 9:03:32 PST 2003 by paintsprayer] Now I'm older than movies, Now I'm wiser than dreams, And I know who's there

Peter - sometimes the changes we make ourselves are the hardest ones 2 adapt 2 - but adapt u will, and u will find once things start falling in2 place, it will be one of the best moves u ever made.
Over the past few days I guess u have done a lot of thinking, and it's given u some much-needed perspective. Use that wisely, and act on it now. We're all behind ya, so GO 4 IT BUDDY!!!

Retail is way more relaxing and pays about the same.

I wish you luck - but if you have a wife and a kid you may want to think twice before deleting the household income.
