wheres the line ? for real...now that i am older ...and dating again...i have some questions...
how much are you willing to work through in a relationship right from the beginning ? i mean...everyone has got thier problems...and baggage...but where do you draw the line ? for me...its gotta be drugs... i cant deal with a motherfucker that wont stay straight... drinking is another one that gets touchy with me...yes...you can drink...but dont make it an everyday thing...and for Gods sake...be responsible hurting kids...thats a definate no no other than that...nothing else comes to mind...but the question still remains..are you willing to go through some difficult spots to make a relationship work...or do you expect it to be perfect from the beginning ? and no...im not trying to change anyone...this question is about me and what i think i can deal with...so save the counsling...i will need it another day THE UNOFFICIAL ORG SEX THERAPIST

From here on out... If a man has been married before, the first question I have is... WHat was she like?
I have been through the ex-wife stalker, and will absolutely not ever do that again. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^
Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections... unknown

I would have to think money would be an issue.
I couldn't deal with letting anyone "hold" some money until pay day.

To be honest, I probably wouldn't work through much from the beginning. There has to be many beginnings out there.

this is true...however...what does it take for you to decide to invest your time...energy...and effort into a relationship...maybe thats how i should have worded the question instead THE UNOFFICIAL ORG SEX THERAPIST

this is true...however...what does it take for you to decide to invest your time...energy...and effort into a relationship...maybe thats how i should have worded the question instead Things like drugs, alcoholism, abuse...those aren't things you can "work out" in a relationship...those are some rather extreme character flaws that a person has to solve themself. You can only offer help & support as they do. Issues about money, kids, jobs, etc...those are things you can easily work out together if you're both wanting to. Their existence would never deter me from pursuing a relationship...Everything else is in the gray area...everyone can (and will) make mistakes within their life, so I can live with that existing within a relationship. What I could not live with, however, is if they didn't realize their mistake and learn/grow from it. If they do, then you're blessed with seeing your lover grow, which is something beautiful to witness...but if not, then you're with someone who's spiritually and emotionally immature...and that would lead to a frustrating, draining and unfulfilling partnership for me. the only thing that would keep me from pursuing a relationship is if I didn't truly love the person intimately, romantically, spiritually and passionately. ...It's ultimately, I think, why I divorced when I did...she deserved someone in her life who loved her intimately, romantically, spiritually and passionately...in other words, in all the ways I knew I didn't. *long sigh*...
