A Riddle?

John discovers Harry's disloyalty
but Harry doesn't know John is aware of his betrayal.

John manipulates a circummstance to infiltrate Harry's process to intentionally produce an invalid result in Harry's life.
This invalid result could only happen as a result of Harry being a traitor to John.

Harry, still unbeknownst of John being wise to his dishonor, views this latest action by John as an "attack" against him. Harry then proceeeds to further, with seemmingly
self-justification, to launch further
un-called strikes against John.

Question is...

WHO will endure JUST Karmic repercussions?

They'll both get exactly what's coming to them, as John knowing what Harry did, purposefully manipulated circumstances surrounding Harry, and Harry too will suffer for his betrayal and his continued attacks against John whom he origianlly betrayed. (Probably not the answer you were looking for , but...)

Both men have acted, so through cosmic law, both will endure the consequences of their actions.

Because the circumstances and thought processes behind an action are deeply personal, third parties should generally avoid looking on to interpret repercussions as cosmic "reward" or "punishment." All Karma, however, is a natural repercussion of one's actions, and therefore is justified.

τὸ τέλος ὁ χρόνος ἀπαιτεῖ.”
