2morrow night sees the television premier of 'Audition' a film by the cult Japanese director Takashi Miike on British TV. This film was brought 2 my attention by a friend of mine who could barely bring himself 2 watch it. Reading the review of the film I can see why! This same guy most recently made a film called Ichi the killer I think. Any fans of his work outthere or any1 seen this film and can tell me what 2 expect?

same level as "Requiem For A Dream". Marvellous.

It's a great movie, I saw it a few years ago.
Quite disturbing, but worth watching if you like kind of thing.

What channel is it on?

We have "Ichi the Killer" on DVD, but I haven't watched it yet. (it's my husband's)

hehe ... like most horror films it was worse when things weren't actually happening I thought ... I do hate films like that though, cos my mind works overtime and I end up having nightmares and stuff.

I was quite thrown by the girls dyking out with pervy old men around them shouting "COME! COME! COME!" while contrasted at the same time as the Mother getting ECT - one of my all-time favourite movie scenes ever!
