with minors around. Should we get pissed if they do end up pregnant? After all, aren't we telling them to basically have sex for the sake of feeling good? Give me your views.

I thought minors weren't supposed to be on here in the first place. It's their fault if their going to be dumbasses and get pregnant because of things people say on a website.

i think its a personal decision...and there are minors everywhere...i am a grown woman with thoughts and ideas of my own...this is me...love me or hate me...i made it through my 33 years to be able to be who i am today ...

I wasn't constanly submersed in it. The time period i grew up in was alot different than today. Knowing about something and being conctantly bombarded with sex was something i never knew of. If i had heard about sex all the time i probably would have been a much younger father. I was surrounded by good people and had a bit of luck i guess.

Hopefully, minors aren't getting their sexual guidance from message boards, but rather from caring and understanding parents/family members...if they are, then it'll go far towards helping them deal with and understand the sexual aspects of society they come into contact with. Open, honest and respectful communication about sex with minors helps construct a healthy and respectful view towards sex within their being...I had that type of relationship with my neice after my sister passed away ...(her father was unable to "be" there in that way for her at the time)...one where we'd talk openly and honestly about sex, conveying to her the importance of viewing the sexual with profound respect and a healthy understanding.

But, in general, I do agree with what you're saying...we don't help matters much by seemingly ignoring what we throw out into the atmosphere of our society in terms of love, respect, the earth, and definitely in terms of sex.

I know how difficult and confusing the world can be now to grow up in; I am still technically a teenager. Combine lack of parenting and the culture we live in, I think unfortunately many are easily led astray to a place that will ultimately bring them unhappiness.

It's the same way I feel about gun control basically. Yes, you have freedom to do what you want. But as a human being, what are you doing to help stop negative outcomes? Because you're not helping for sure.
