It's Deer Season...

My parents recently had a deer run out in front of their car (it happened so suddenly, they didn't even see the deer coming). My dad tried to stop the car to avoid hitting the deer, but because it happened so suddenly, he was unable to, and the deer ran right into their car. The deer landed on the hood of my parent's car on its back, then it was flung off onto the side of the road. My mom glanced back to see if the deer was moving, but it wasn't, so it was safe to assume that it was dead (at least it didn't suffer, poor thing).

Of course now my parents need to take their car into the body shop to get it fixed, since the hood got badly dented, the grill is broken and a headlight got broken. But it could have been much worse, they could have been killed (thank God they weren't).

I'm posting this as a friendly reminder to you all to be careful when driving, because deer are everywhere this time of year, and then tend to jump right out in front of your car while you're driving. It's strange that deer just run right into your car without turning the other way or stopping. Maybe they can't stop and/or turn around because they're going too fast? confuse
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Yeah ya gotta watchout for those damn deers. A few years back my brother was riding with his friend in his car up near Reno and two deers ran out infront of his car, it happened at night and when he swerved the car it rolled down a cliff and flipped five times. My brother was thrown out the back window, and his friend suffered injuries too.

How awful, Paisley. hug Those deer sure do cause a lot of trouble don't they? I mean they're cute and all, but they're not cute when they cause an accident or eat your flowers in the backyard. pissed
