A prostitute is someone who HAS sex for money. Full Stop.

Phone sex is not having sex (Bill clinton got BJ's dismissed as not sex for fucks sake!!) and is therefor not prostitution.

The other analogies above are meant to be rediculous to illustrate the difference between almost prostitution and NOT prostitution, it is not simply if you degrade youself (by Soulpowers definition) you are a Hooker.

If you don't think phone sex is a particularly nice then thats fine, but is is not and can not be considered prostitution because there is no physical act between two people.

I'll make this simple if you think you can do it (atually muster the words), and still be able to carry on with normal life (i.e.- feeding you kids, and paying your bills) go for it. It's not like your actually out in the street hooking which involves way more risk than talking to someone on the phone. Go for it, you can always quit, ALWAYS.


If you find that you're to embarrased or think you won't be able to spend the money with pride and look your children in the eye or ever discuss with them that at some point in your life you felt the need to consider/do it, or If it makes you feel like a prostitute it's not for you.

I have the ability to detach myself from the words, and sounds not to mention the sick Sh*t people want to hear, so for me it wasn't a toss up, but when I started to feel uncomfortable in my surroundings it gave it up. It was never the work itself.

There isn't anything anyone's gonna say that's gonna make your decision. I actually came across the ad in the paper and thought it was a call center so when the interviewer asked me what I know about Dominatrix and S & M I had to think quick (DO it or don't) I decided I could live with myself so I did. Besides I needed the money at the time and I wasn't going to strip for anyone male or female (wasn't in shape enough, LOL).

If you think about it it's the same type of thing:

Tease MEN/WOMEN for money, the real difference for me is that I remained annonymous, and that's what was important to me.

I actually drafted a script for this old gilrfriend of mine for this same thing. It went over well, but she came to me later and said "If this is the type of stuff I have to come up with off the top of my head I have to quit."

I think for her the problem wasn't the script it was her not really being open to it in the first place.She got alot of unwarranted opinions when folk found out about it. Then came the trouble with the script. She thought she could just moan her way through it, but it actually can get hard to maintain your creativity when it's all you do for hours.

SO ask yourself is it other peoples opinions or your own inhibitions that would stop you, if it was something you seriously consider doing.

I just wouldnt chose it as an option for myself, because I believe it would be damaging the moral expectations I have of myself. And I certainly wouldnt tolerate a partner who is engaged in either one of the two.

I think the issue you are facing with spending this kind of money on your children can be resolved by asking yourself whether it would bother you if they did the same thing as adults, then you’ll know whether you can do it.

I personally don’t think there is any moral issue here, but I don’t think prostitution is immoral either. Those who do have ethical issues here should probably hold their piece until we live in a world where the military and not the single mothers need to look for part time work.

On a more practical note whereas your posts usually bubble over with sexual enthusiasm you also seem to be a kind warm hearted person; there are some evil evil people out there and to do this kind of work you would need to completely detach yourself from it.

If you are still interested you should probably try it through a company first, that would handle the billing and phone routing etc. After that if you like it there are plenty of books on how to set up a home based business, not sure how you’d deal with phone lines and what not though.

Good luck, anyway a person finds to make themselves richer without hurting anybody and without becoming a corporate slave is a good thing

Lots of people work hard for their money at jobs they don't have to hide from others or be embarrassed about. They do something they love and are passionate about. It's not the easiest way to make money, but they feel good about themselves.
