Its not my problem that you dont have any high regards for your spiritual self. I for one, I have always made sure that my money comes "clean". I do believe in Karma and I do believe in energy. I have made mistakes in my life too, but I have learned from them. To me it DOES matter where money comes from.

Prostitution is defined as - The act or practice of engaging in sex acts for hire.

Source?

Not talking about it!

Phone sex operators are not "talking about it", they are faking sexual acts over the phone while making somebody else jack off. Dont get me wrong here, I am not against commercial phone sex or prostitution, I just wouldnt do it myself. Thats all.

I think it's the guys on the other end of the phone that have the issues.

True, those men have issues. But I believe that if you take advantage of those issues and feed those issues, it will be bad for your karma.

Here's the moral of this story.

It's your decision. If it doesn't fell right to you then don't do it. If you don't feel likeit's "bad energy" then make some cash but don't fake anything with a real man.

BUT! lol People do it everyday, in relationships, phone sex, teasing others, promising a loved one etc when they are really teasing them.

True, thats happening every day. But there is no intention of making money of the other behind that. Whats wrong if there are emotions involved? Nothing.

This is a business, a controlled business. At least the person on the phone is jacking off at home. Where is the difference when one teases in chatrooms etc etc, and nobody can stop someone from falling in "love" with them.

If one coldbloodedly makes somebody else fall in love with him for the sake of money or power, its wrong. No matter if its a phone sex business or chat room.

You may "love" your colleague in your office, that person who catches the same train as you. Its not really love, cos only one person is involved.

Yeah, but that would be quite one-sided, wouldnt it? Dont push me into the corner claiming that its wrong to have a crush on somebody. Thats not what we are talking about here. We are talking about business with sex but no emotion and sincerity involved.

Some people phone these lines for company, just company. So you think they shouldnt?

Its fake company. Because most phone sex operators wont tell the men what they truly think. They will tell them what they wanna hear. And many men are stupid enuff to believe it. That will fuck them up even more, and maby one day their hate for woman might drive them to something worse. Like I said, I believe its bad energy and only feeds bad energy.

If you wanna take that direction, then EVERYONE has prostituted themselves in some way in their lives.

Probably. But as soon as we find out that we did, we should learn from it.

How about someone picking up a chick and telling her all the things she wants to hear so you can get her into bed, or vice versa, that is using sex in the wrong way too, but it happens.

Right, thats very wrong.

Okay, I believe you. I didnt look it up myself.
I`d still consider it "engaging in sex act for hire" -- because you are selling a man your fake voice and he jacks off.
Its called phone sex, right? So its a form of sex. If you commercialize sex its prostitution.

We could get on the whole "If two people have sex and the guy has bought dinner, drinks and ballet tickets the woman must be a prostitute" argument here. But it isn't. Prostitution is clearly defined. There is NO way phone sex (for cash) is prostitution.

Hmmm... good question. I think that takes a personal definition. I`d say yes as long as their dancing does not have an artistic purpose, but only is to satisfy the sexual need of a man.

Thats because its crap. A woman doest fuck a man only to have a nice dinner and ballet ticket. She does it for the fun of it. And if not -- if she really gives her body not out of fun but to aquire some nice food -- it would be prostitution. Because she would give her body only to get something materialistic in return.

Prostitution is clearly defined. There is NO way phone sex (for cash) is prostitution.

Thats your opinion. I have a different one.

Ballet makes sound like such a nice evening, I was going to put Cinema, cheap and tacky hmph! . Ballet makes an evening, and guarantees sex too

This really is a silly analogy. Because, like I said above, only very few women would fuck a man whom they dont like in order to get ballet tix.

Well I dont wanna jack the thread totally and go off on a tangent, but alot of lap dancers/strippers ARE dancers who are waiting for their big break but unfortunately get mixed up in this shit. Yes, they are teasing men, yes they may rub their bodies against men for money, as it is a job, and they are doing it purely to get the men excited sexually.

I know it's silly, that was the point, if it doesn't fit the definition, it isn't prostitution, simple!

And I know you are entitled to your opinion but you can hardly have an opinion of a definition. It isn't prostitution!

Of course there are strippers who are professionals who one day want to make it in the serious biz. But as long as they are dancing in strip joints, they are strippers. Because men wont say "Wow, look at how great she dances. She should be in ballet!". They will say "That bitch better take her tanga off quick!"

Why are you guys bringing up more and more things which have absolutely nothing to do with the topic? Since when have golddiggers anything to do with selling sex?

They have sex and marry the man for money, they tease older men for money, hence prostituting themselves mr.green .

Yes, and phone sex does fit the definition. If not, then you should give it a differnt name, like "phone tease" or "phone fun". But its sex.
Listen, its quite easy: When two lovers over long distance are engaging in phone sex, it is considered a sexual act between the two.
If a woman does the same for money, its not sex?? That doesnt make sense.

But the ones you have mentioned above... well, if a woman fucks a man only for money and marries him only for the money, no love involved, you really dont believe that she is prostituting herself? You are killing your own definition here.
