Ok, my mother, being the wanting to do something cool for halloween at work person that she is decides that she is going to make a "Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood" hat to wear for costume time. So she goes out and buys a bunch of funky stuff like beads and feathers and crazy colored things to put on this hat. And she walks out of her room to show me the hat and I notice she's got this necklace wrapped around the hat with this medallion on it. I look closer and I see that the mediallion is a picture of a POT LEAF.
So, me being the wonderful daughter that I am and not wanting her to be embarassed about the pendant or even worse FIRED for wearing that paraphanelia AT WORK, TELLS HER that 'hey that is a pot leaf on there, you might not want to be wearing that to work'.
Well. She doesn't believe me and not only that she wants to know how I KNOW it's a pot leaf.
Then she says she's going to wear it anyway and see if anybody else at work notices this. I did a google search on "pot leaf" and found pictures practically identical to the one on her pendant. And well, I just hope she takes my word for it and leaves that mess at home.
Just FYI - my mother really didn't know what it is.
She got the thing from my aunt a long time ago.
Well, this is a true story and yes I did enjoy using the emoticons to convey it!
