as with any topic that is close to somebody's heart, i get really burned out after a while, listening to all of the stories of horrific violence toward animals.

being mad at an idiot like this one doesn't really solve much. here's what you can do if you really want to make a change:

* support stronger animal rights legislation, on a state and federal level.
* stop using animals for your food, your clothing, in your shampoo and medications, and for your entertainment.
* support your local and national animal rights groups financially until it hurts.

if you start doing that, there will be fewer horrific stories to be upset about. just crying over it doesn't help. do something. today. anything else is hypocrisy.
