wow .. amazing pic!

the amount of energy released in A Solar Flare is the equivalent of millions of 100-megaton hydrogen bombs exploding at the same time!

We have had fires here in Southern California and at one point the smoke was heavy enough for me to look at the sun without being blinded and I could see a sunspot!!!

It's amazing looking at all the stars in the night sky and realizing that our sun is a star too. I am so amazed with space. It's an intriguing subject and one I love to learn about
