I don't have a cell phone, probably because I'm still looking for a permanent job (working as a temp now), and I'm trying to keep expenses down. Also because I guess I never really had a use for one.

It was pretty essential when I was at university. But Im not in2 all the latest mod cons. It does its job and it plays the ringtone I want so Im content with that.

I am annoyed by phones and by people talking on them in public and will probably never own one.

Me neither. Never wanted one.

bills are way to freakin high..and when im out...i dont wanna be bothered...

Though recently, I'm starting to think of cell phones the way I think of bratty kids...it's not the child you should scorn, but the stupid-ass parents who can't raise 'em right. In other words, maybe owning a cell phone is a good idea, but every time I have to endure another ass-wad sitting next to me on the train blabbing away at full lung, it occurs to me that I'd rather stick a hot poker in my eye than do anything that would make me become such an annoying person.

I don't have one. Most people don't NEED one. Well, except maybe in a disaster... I can't stand people that drive really erratic because they can't talk and drive at the same time.

I have had the same cell phone number since 1989,and its very easy to remember. I love the flexibility of having a communication device that saves me time when I am working.

I don't.
I should have one but I don't like the idea of always being available by phone.
I can get in the car or go outside to escape phones.
If I get a cellphone I will always have to explain why I didn't pick up or why I didn't call back or where I've been or who I've been with.

I don't own one. It is the height of annoyance to have people picking up while I'm tryin to chill at Barnes and Noble or somewhere like that. I was at a wedding recently when someone's went off ~ the epitome of rudeness in my opinion. I don't like missing calls from friends but if they leave a message I will call back as soon as I receive it.

I always liked the face to face thing so much better.
