Motivation.

R U 1 of those people who needs 2 get something done but keeps putting it off? Do U find something that takes Ur fancy more than thing U really need 2 do?

Sometimes I am guilty of not being motivated 2 get things done and leave them 2 the last minute. Each time I think 2 myself, 'I wont do that again'! However I always end up doing it! I know its easy 2 just say, 'just do it' but sometimes its hard U know, if U dont particularly want 2 or be arsed 2 do it. Any tips/ideas?

Accept that you are who you are.

Being aware of it helps a BIT.

But if you are lazy, like me, you just don't give a damn.

I am from time to time, one of those people. A friend of mine told me about this saying:

"If you want peace of mind, finish what you start."

It has been a great motivator for me.

I do need motivation in some important things I don't like doing, but the rest glides pretty smoothly without any help.

Deadlines always worked for me. In college, I never missed a dealine for writing a paper. As an English major, I had to write hundreds of essays. I waited until the last minute to write many of them. In grad school, I even took days off of work to write an essay on the day it was due.

Try giving yourself deadlines.
