I dont know how many of you live or have loved ones who live near the fire that is burning in Southern California "Rancho Cucamunga" but I hope everything is ok if you or they are near.

My Dad is on this fire. He called my mom this morning
and he is fine... but I always worry bout him when he
is on big fires like this.

I just got home (live in San Bernardino)...most of the exits and streets around where I live are blocked. The parking lot of my apartment complex almost looks deserted...and one of my neighbors just informed me that everyone where I live was asked by the police/fire department to evacuate "voluntarily"...

I'm stayin'...for now...but there's a smoke smell inside my apartment now...and I can go out onto my balcony and watch the flames (it's actually kinda peaceful...in a destructive sort of way...lol)...

Just went for a walk to see if I could photograph the flames better...the smoke burns your eyes. Apparently the fire got as close as 6 blocks away before they stopped its movements.

When I got back, the night security guard asked me which apartment I lived in, and said he'd knock on my door if the fire got worse (like I'm gonna sleep...lol)...Only thing is, if it does, there's about 25 of us still left, and trying to get all our cars out of the parking gate will be a nightmare, especially if the electricity goes out cuz the gate won't work. Called 3 hotels, all are booked.

This is fun...

My sister lives in Rialto (2 cities away from rancho cucamonga). There are 2 separate fires near her. People have been evacuated all around her in Fonatana and Highland, but she hasn't been evacuated yet. There was another one in Reche Canyon which is two cities away from me. There was ash and smoke everywhere on Saturday. I actually choked a little when I stepped outside
