Typecasting!

Isnt it odd how actors and actresses R typecasted 2 play some1 evil/good. Im thinking of the lines of Christopher Lee (Dracula, Saraman, Lord Summerisle, Scaramanga etc) as an evil typecast and Harrison Ford (Indiana Jones, Han Solo, Rick Deckard) etc.

I wonder how that makes them feel knowing that people think Ur a good/bad guy?!

Can U think of others who R typecasted in such a way and what R Ur thoughts on it!?

There's a mexican actor that is always playing the same "bad guy" roll...he was in "Desperado" and "From Dusk Till Dawn"

and Steve Buscemi always plays the nutty guy...

They're are so many...but they slip my mind

Well here's a example. I work with the public and I see it every day. A person of color walks into the store and automatically security is scoping'em out, following them around like their going to rip something off, everytime I see that it makes me sick. One should not be judged by the color of their skin. disbelief there is good and bad in every race.

r

Gay people are ALWAYS typecasted as QUEENS.

This is why I love Six Feet Under. It portrays a gay character as HUMAN.

I mean just look. Independence Day. Harvey Fierstein HAD to die. rolleyes I'd rather would have seen him rescue his mom and make it. But who am I?
