I became pregnant at seventeen. Today, my oldest son turns 16. I have never spent any of my adult life alone, just me. I have always been responsible for someone else. If you are serious, I wish you all the luck in the world, because you will need it. I had NO support system. If this is a joke, this shit is not funny.

hug that must have been incredibly difficult all those years, stymie! hats off to you for your courage!

thumbs up!

wait - is this one of those teenagery things where you pretend and tell people you are pregnant in the hope of getting some attention / reactions... or out of a desire to tell people that you are sexually active at last confuse

Teenagers are complicated...

as incredibly annoying and immature as that would be, it would certainly be the preferable outcome!

sigh Yes...it would. And, HerRoyalBadness, if this is true...PLEASE look at all options that are available to you. This will be the most difficult thing that you will ever do. Your life will not be your own anymore and you will miss out on nearly EVERYTHING you're looking forward to in your young life.
Good luck to you...

I dont think its anybody's business here 2 comment on whether HRB is right or wrong. Im sure all of us here have done things in the past which would warrant differences of opinion. On the flip side, this sort of thing should be kept privatly really I think.

Me, too, especially since I've been through it myslef. Surely she knew that people would respond the way we are. How else can you be expected to someone who claims to be fourteen saying that she is pregnant?

I'm thinking this is a 'hit and run' kind of thing. She hasn't posted back on her own thread to respond to anyone. I hope its a joke, but like stymie said above...that mess ain't funny.

Well in fairness, if someone starts a thread on a subject, it is quite reasonable to respond with your opinion. Otherwise why create the thread?

And anyway, if some teenage kid was careless enough to get herself pregnant, what can you expect? A medal? A pat on the back? C'mon now... people in this thread have been quite considerate and helpful, but what can you say to a problem like this...?

Hopefully it's a bad joke anyway.

that's what i'm saying...

people are saying congradulations like it's a great accomplishment to be 14 and knocked up... this girl should still be in middle/high school and getting her education...

most people can't even get a job at 14... how in thee hell is this kid gonna be supported...

i tell ya what's an accomplishment and deserving of a medal... if she had a job with a good income and strong and stable environment conducive to raising a child, then i would say congradulations... that would be an accomplishment... you were able to wait until you realized that situation was as ideal as is possible to bring a child into the world... way to go...

but i am NOT congradulating someone for being irresponsible and negligent... it should be obvious that she isn't responsible enough to have a kid based on the tone of the thread... "i'm 14 and pregnant... life is wonderful" type of shit... if she had any sort of maturity, she would not be speaking of the situation as lightly as she is...

and i'll tell you who i feel sorry for - the damn kid... a kid being raised by a kid... it's gonna be rough...

but like i said, i'll pray for y'all... cause you gonna need all the prayers you can get...

and like everyone else, i hope this is a damn joke... and if it is, this shit ain't funny and ain't a damn person 'round here laughing...

twocents

and i don't care how many of y'all muthafuckas call me cold-hearted or whatever... i am not being cold-hearted... i am being real... she needs to realize the severity of the situation...

and to the person who said "y'all are gonna make her cry"... she needs to be muthafuckin' crying right now... if i were 14 and pregnant, i'd be cryin' like a muthafucka... if she were crying, then at least it would show that she understood the situation at hand...

i mean, damn...

people need to wake the fuck up outta their cotton candy castles and step into the muthafuckin' real ass world...

If she IS infact, 14/15 or however old she is...(I don't know her..so) it's just a sad thing to say it in such a "LOOK AT ME" way... disbelief
