I became pregnant at seventeen. Today, my oldest son turns 16. I have never spent any of my adult life alone, just me. I have always been responsible for someone else. I presume you are joking... If you are serious... well you are far too young to be a mother yourself, in my opinion. A child isn't just a cute plaything - you will be stuck with caring for it and supporting it for the best part of your life. Any young woman who is sexually active NEEDS to take responsibility for her own fertility and LEARN about contraception and the best options available to you. Sorry for the lecture, but if you have really gotten yourself pregnant at your age, it is an incredibly stupid thing to do. I do hope you have understanding family and friends who can support you and help you raise the child, if you choose not to have an abortion. My mother had me very young also. Just think, your kid could turn out like me! | |
