A friend of mine works in the IT department for Youngstown State University in Ohio. He mentioned to me that some email marketer in Austin Texas recently filed a court order (under FOIA or public records or etc) to get EVERY SINGLE E-MAIL ADDRESS at YSU. And they will probabbly turn around and sell this list to other companies. From whay he explained, they can do this because YSU is a government agency and the email addresses are considered public records.

Is this ever going to stop?

Then it's a good thing I'm not on their list.
