Does anyone know how to trace a Post Office Box Address back to its owner?

I just got a creepy letter- it has a picture of me (from about 10 years ago) and an anonymous note. The idoit put a return address lable, but cut the name off.

I'm sure it's a (stupid) joke, but the letter was sent from Maryland and I live in Georgia. So needless to say, I'm extremely curious to know who it is.

Any Private Eyes or Postal Employees on the Org? I'd apprechate any help or advise. I'll pay your kindness back in Prince goodies.

i'd start with calling the post office where the box is. dunno if they can give out that sort of info, though. but turning it into the police might get you somewhere.

What Aaron said. You will need a good reason for wanting the trace. You will need to fill out forms.

I got the letter today- I'm going to the Post Office Sat and will call the PO in Maryland too.

it's probably a tacky joke, but it sounds creepy, as you said. have you tried tracing the address through google? failing that, there are 'find people' search engines that allow you to trace people for a fee, might work.

i would not respond to the letter, btw, don't encourage the freak in any way. good luck
