PrintableI try not to regret anything I do but there have been a couple of times where I wish I had waited but mainly because the sex sucked and the experience could have been so much better if we had given a damn about each other. i am so annoyed with the double-standard we still apply to sex - the old guy-is-a-playa/girl-is-a-slut thing.
if you are clear in your mind about what it is you want - go and get it. two consenting adults can have an outstanding relationship at whatever level without having to play games, hold out, pretend to want something they don't, etc. still, people go out and make things unnecessarily complicated, and 99% of the time it's because of societal norms or convention. what an incredible waste of time! so, y'all get to shagging - you have i.b.'s permission!  | |

Well I usually knew if I was interested in the guy or just wanted sex. If I just wanted sex I was selfish and went for it but if I thought that the guy was going to be around a while I ususally would wait and see. But hey I broke all those rules with my hubby as I gave it up the first time we met and we've been together for 10 years now so 
it really depends on what you want and what he wants as well. I believe that sex can enhance a relationship as well as complicate it so just because you sleep with someone early on does not mean it will be something you regret.
