Founded in Kovrov in 1917 the machine-gun plant has been providing the Armed Forces of the country with infantry and gun weapons for over 80 years already. Such remarkable samples of weapon as Degtyarev antitank rifle (PTRD), Degtyarev infantry machine-gun (DP), Shpagin machine pistol (PPSh), Goryunov heavy machine-gun (SG) were created at the plant.

During last years OJSC "V.A.Degtyarev Plant" has been producing revolver "UDAR" , machine-gun "KORD", aircraft guns "GSh-23" and "GSh-30", mount "98U" for fight with underwater diversioners, antitank system "KORNET-E", portable anti-aircraft missile system "IGLA", etc.


Military products

12.7 mm machine-gun "Kord"


It is designated for the defeat of lightly armoured targets, fire installations and living force of enemy at the distances of up to 1500-2000m and for the defeat of air targets at slant distances of up to 1500m.

Ammunition:
12.7 mm cartridges with armour-piercing-incendiary and armour-piercing-tracer bullets;
metallic link is used for the belt filling.

Design Execution:
type of fire is by salvos, single-shot fire is ensured by abrupt action on the trigger lever;
sight is of the open type, mechanical for 2000 m;
the machine-gun is equipped with the bracket for the mounting of optical and night sights;
left or right feed of the belt.


"KPVT" large-calibre tank machine-gun


14.5 mm KPVT tank machine-gun is a powerful automatic weapon mounted on the armoured vehicles, war boats, movable and stationary mounts.

It is intended for fight against light-armoured targets, fire weapons and alive force located in light shelters at the distances of up to 2000 m, as well as air targets at the distances of up to 2000 m at the heights of up to 1500 m.

Cartridges with armour-piercing-incendiary bullet B-32, armor-piercing-tracer bullet BZT and incendiary bullet of instant action MDZ are used for firing at surface and air targets.

Feed of cartridges (right-hand or left-hand) is performed from the metallic belt.


30 mm double-barreled aircraft gun "GSH-30" ("GSH-30K")


It is designed for firing with fragmentation-mine, armour-piercing-explosive and armour-piercing-tracer shells from different types of aircrafts and helicopters at air and ground targets. Operation of automated mechanism is based on use of powder gases energy.

The gun can be used on right or left feed.

The gun is produced in two modifications: GSH-30 — with length of barrels of 1500 mm installed on aircrafts "Su-25" type;
GSH-30K — with length of barrels of 2400 mm, evaporative cooling system of barrels and variable rate of fire. The gun is installed on helicopters of "Mi-24P" type.
