Raspberry

yes.

I don't actually really believe in ghosts, but I did stay at a house once that weird things were happening in. Noises, lights switching themselves on and off, doors not closing (it felt like someone was pushing them from the other side of the door).

Anyway, I was with a group of people, staying in a wing of the house and then we found out later it had been used during one of the World Wars as a hospital.

A few weeks ago I did have a weird experience which I just can't explain. I haven't looked into it and don't know whether I will. I was driving in daylight on the A1 near to my home in Bedfordshire. The road was clear and there were no cars ahead of me. I started signalling for my turnoff and noticed a guy in yellow/orange overalls in the middle of the road ahead of me who I assumed was a motorway worker. Anyway, I glimpsed briefly into my mirror before I turned, looked back at the road and there was no guy, no roadworks and no trucks or anything.

I've told a couple of people about this as it was inexplicable. I still don't really accept that what I saw was a ghost, but I can't explain it any other way either.

Monsters galore everywhere. They hide. You enter a building or ride and they pop out from a dark corner and grab you. Even when your walking outdoors around the park they jump out of bushes sometimes sliding on their knees they wear knee pads) rattling tin cans with something loud in them. Too hard to describe but the fog machines and the sudden repeptative shock you get while there definitely is scary.

Oh man, the Indianapolis Children's Museum haunted house spared no expense to scare the crap out of us back in the day...it always ended with a series of holes to put your arms in and they'd have slime and goo in all of them up until the last one, which of course had an arm that started tugging at our hands while we screamed our lungs out.

Maybe this is why the concept of glory holes scares the crap out of me. eek

I remember a haunted maze I went to at a shopping center when I was about 10 years old. It was supposed to be some kind of an asylum, with "shock treatment" rooms and things like that. And you had to walk past these scary-ass people (including children) all painted to be very pale with sunken eyes and as you walk past the "cells," they would reach out and grab you and tug at your clothes and all the while there were strobe lights going off...(shudder). That one scared the chocolate pudding out of me.
All 7 and we'll watch them fall.

Cool topic.
Raz i reckon your experience could be to do with the angle of your mirrors. If you were turning then the angle ofm vision would alter.
I like the way you are interested in all these strange things as so am I. We'd have a good conversation

There's actually a famous one here near me
that supposedly has visible ghosts lurking. I have yet to see any but I'll get it on video if they ever show up.

hug Freaker ... I'm sure we would too smile

I don't think it was the mirrors as the person I saw was ahead of me on a clear road. I looked into my mirrors very briefly before I signalled then when I looked back the man was gone. It really was very strange. I'm willing to accept my brain had visualised it, but I don't know why.
