Well, my trip to Florida is over and I arrived home about three hours ago totally knackered. I won't go into too much detail as I can't be bothered writing a lot right now, but amongst the highlights (and low-lights) were;
Being held for three hours in immigration at Miami aiport with the rudest, most arrogant, offensive staff I've ever had the misfortune to meet, and all because I have a 'common' name. 
Skinny dipping in the hotel pool, the second time we did it a couple of nice policemen politely came along and asked us to 'put some pants on'. Having my picture taken next to a Little Red Corvette (Yep, I'm that sad). Getting totally drunk for 14 nights on the run. Watching the new version of 'Texas ChainSaw Massacre' and as much as I hate to say it, I thought it was pretty good. Being asked for ID twice before being served alcohol (I'm 33 - I was absolutely thrilled). Partying in Key West. And I'll give a better trip report if anybody's interested when I'm less tired. | |

I must say, I had a fantastic time. Totally relaxing with hardly any friction between the seven of us and hardly any negativity at any of the places that we visited (Miami South Beach, Key West and Ft. Lauderdale). And as for the heat; Wow! And now I've come back to a rather chilly UK. | |
