part of the reason i quit working in the news field. one of two things happens when you work in news. you become completely desensitized to it or you are working towards a huge nervous breakdown. i was definately in the latter category.

totally. and in the three years i worked in news i saw columbine and most of the other school shootings, matthew shepard, billy jack, the jasper dragging, 9/11, and all kinds of national tragedies, not to mentionon eof our reporters death, the hostage situation i ended up a part of, and several other local tragedies.

it was just more than i could handle.
