Pass Coverage in Madden 2002 -- I need a secondary coach!

I am now addicted to Madden 2002. I am in my second year of franchise mode and have a .500 record. My offense is decent, but man, my defense has problems with the big play. I can never stop the fade route, even though my CBs are fairly highly rated. I can't seem to break up passes.

HELP!
