I like both films, but I thought neither were truely great. I know many consider the first one a masterpiece, but I thought it was an average to good SciFi.

Maybe thats why I enjoyed the second one too, I had fairly low expecations to begin with.

Agreed. i just expected more Matrix, and I got that. I didn't expect all that much. Not quite sure what people thought they'd get with the second one, but they delivered what I expected really.

to me

less was truly more with the first film

the second film was rediculous

just more was less

to me of course

lost boys was a better film

I guess, being a videogame creator and an avid gamer, I love it when people show me things I haven't seen before. So, some of the action sequences in Reloaded were particularly good eye candy IMO, silly, exaggerated, crazy, and I liked it smile

Did someone mention my name? omfg

I thought the first movie was very good - it came out of nowhere and offered some interesting new ideas to the sci-fi genre.
I don't know what I expected from the second one. A good story and some spectacular effects? I got neither. sad

So I was pretty disappointed, yes. biggrin

How can anyone say that the second film doesn't have a plot?

Fuck, if anything it suffers from TOO much plot.

I think the third film will payoff though for those that didnt like the second film.
