Another day to trudge thru...

Yesterday, while taking photos for my job, I was driving down this street and saw a gorgeous tree standing out from all the others...so gorgeous I immediately pulled over, and got the camera I use for work. In California, we don't really have a "Fall" season...this one tree decided otherwise. While all the other trees on the block were either palm trees or still very much green, this one tree just dazzled with vivid greens, golds, yellows and reds...it was simply beautiful.

The woman who lives where the tree is located immediately started to come out of her house when she saw me walking over to her tree with my camera...she knew why I was doing so. *smile* ...I told her she had a stunning tree, and she said she gets comments like that all the time. She stayed out there while I took numerous photos of her tree, and we sat and talked for 5-10 minutes just about how beautiful trees become during Autumn, what it's like back in Virginia (she'd never been there, I used to live there for 11 years)...things like that. She then joked that I could rake her leaves if I loved the tree so much...

Anyway...thought'd share the tree with everyone here (will put one of my shots on my website as well, I think...)..and just send everyone off with a (very) tired "Good morning"...

Our trees in Michigan are in full color now... I'm getting some film developed that I can share with all of you soon...
