Blaine in the Box

What do you think about Blaine in the Box? Sunday will be the last day. Is it less of a joke after 44 days?

What if he had to listen to Hilary Duff for 44 days straight. lol

I think Im the only 1 who thinks its kinda admirable. All of the people Ive talked 2 about it think he's an idiot; well maybe he is but I think its an interesting experiment on the extent 2 which the human body can be pushed 2 its limits. He'll be remembered for it aswell so he's got what he's wanted.

what makes it so dumb, because was out in the open
for everyone to see?

If was in the ground for 44 days would this have been better?

Just trying to see your point. I thought it was admirable.

What would make it amazing, 50 days? 65 days? or would it be more
entertaining watching him eat bugs on Fear Factor? confuse

I think the fact that he had 2 endure so much shit from the general public thrown in the mix is also admirable. The people who R wasting time throwing eggs and golf balls at him R the real losers.

Yeah, and he'll throw it all up because his stomach won't be able to handle it. lol

hmmm Actually, I would probably throw it up too, and I haven't been starving myself.

Personally, I don't think he actually did it.

I think he's in the box, but not full time. He's either getting a break occasionally when no one is around or he's being smuggled food somehow. It's gotta be an illusion. His other stunts were similarly fake weren't they?

couldn't they discreetly run a feeding tube with some kind of food (like a protien shake or something) up the crane and into his box?

I think he pees and poops and sends it down from the box. Or maybe he wears Depends under garments. He has to cover himself with the blanket to change his undees

Cool job, the poop handler

I wonder if at the end he will do some kinda stunt, like suddenly appear as part of the crowd looking up at the 'alleged' sleeping figure on the box floor.

But I guess if he does that then it undermines his whole stunt

You do, you'll have loose stool for awhile and then it's mostly water. After a time you do stop shitting anything...if in fact you are only ingesting water.

I agree with you two. I love David Blaine.

A performance artist who used his nose to roll a monkey nut for seven miles has announced his next stunt - turning himself into a full English breakfast.

Mark McGowan, from Peckham, south east London, has said he will sit in a bath of baked beans, with two chips up his nose and sausages wrapped around his head for 12 days to celebrate English culture and food.

The 37-year-old is due to step into the bath, which will be in the shop window of the House Gallery in Camberwell, south London, on 14 November.

In September the fine art graduate rolled a monkey nut from Goldsmiths College in New Cross, south London, to the door of Number 10 Downing Street to protest against student debt.

It took him 12 days to complete his challenge, with him covering about three-quarters of a mile every day...

Can you imagine when he got to Number 10. He knocks on the door, "Who is it?" "It's the monkey nut guy" "It's me, let me in, I've just rolled a monkey nut wth my nose for seven miles." "oh alright come in, but wipe yer nose on the mat"

Number 10 did actually take official delivery of the nut.

Exactly. His is an ILLUSIONIST. Thats the whole point.

I see his "levitating" trick was voted the second best illusion of all time, and its SO simple to do.

Even the number one trick, Copperfields, "death saw" was easy to work out.
