with one out a guy hit a foul ball just out of play. Alou could have caught it but a fan got in the way. Next play there was an easy grounder to SS that he bobbled and didnt get an out.

the billygoat is the supposed curse on the Cubs, why they havent won a World Series. the old owner of the Billy Goat Tavern (a chicago landmark) used to bring a goat to games. one game they wouldnt let him bring it in anymore and he cursed the Cubs forever. they havent been back since. they bring billygoats to Wrigley all the time to try and break the curse.

after dropping 3 straight in 1984 to the Padres and now this, i am finally buying into this shit. they better pull it off tomorrow.

Anybody in the stands would have reacted the same on that flyball. The umpire didn't rule fan interference because Alou had to reach in the stands to get it! Not that a Cubs fan shouldn't be smarter...cuz Alou probably would have caught it!

Also, the fan is a young kid. Hopefully, nobody fucks with him. Rigley should supply security for him and his family. The announcers have been expressing apathy and concern for the kid.
