its hard to explain because there are a lot of ways to do it. you get some steak, chicken, fish, veggies, shrimp or whatever and you cook it in a broth. they have several different types of broth that can give it any amount of flavors. i enjoy one with a little wine in it. you cook your meat or veggies in that broth, then you have a bunch of different types of sauces to dip it in! it is great! that is just the dinner portion. for appetiser they usually have like a cheese fondue that is like a melted cheese and you dip bread in it. there are a lot of different types of cheese they use for that too. fantastic! then desert. they melt some chocolate or white chocolate or caramel or whatever in the fondue pot again and you dip strawberries or pound cake or brownies or other fruit into it. mmm... it is fun. most fondue places are a little pricey but it is worth it! I have been to both Colorado Fondue and Melting Pot (both are chains here in the southeast) and both are good. I prefer Melting Pot though! There use to be a melting pot in queens, NY.. They closed down.. but the fondue dessert was the BEST!! cake, fruit, nuts... yum.. with milk chocolate! Little Miss Muffin... You vixen you...-Sag10 | |
