Double Standards (Girl Power) Is it just me or have you notice in Hollywood, how the media likes to potray women as either being a sultry sex kitten or being seen as someone strong & intellectual ? When the woman is shown as being someone strong & intellectual, she always has the word bitch 2 follow behind her, where on the other hand if she seen has the sex symbol, you get enough of hearing about her and the media gives her more then enough praise.
My question is why can't women choose to be both in the entertainment business, strong, intellectual and sexy? Is the media really that afraid of showing the realness of how a woman is supposed to be ?

Girl, I've been wondering about this for years...it's not just you.
I'm not sure why this strange standard exists...maybe it plays into the whole 'one type of woman is the marrying type and one is not' sort of thing I'm not sure.
