AnotherLoverToo said: Has anyone ever pulled a back muscle? I slept funny, and woke up with a sore muscle this a.m., and then tonight I was sitting and reached forward for something when the most ungodly pain I've ever experienced went ripping up one side of my back. It knocked the wind out of me, it hurt so much!
I don't have a heating pad, but I do have a massager I got threw from a moving car in '90 I live with a dull pain every day, but there are those times when my back goes 'OUT' and the shit is ascruciating. Can't even get out of bed without rollin over and liftin myself up with my arms. That's when my lower back can't sustain the weight of my upper body. WHUT WORKS FOR ME: At those times I go and get the SHOT, cordazone/novacaine That seems to do the trick. I AM King BAD a.k.a. BAD,

I've done this before...
I had... pain meds (Motrin 800) muscle relaxers a corset (to immoblize my back...they could acually order it with garter attachments...it was pretty funny!) six weeks of physical therapy three times a week It was a very severe back sprain, though... Right now you need ice on it and then later heat. It would be wise to invest in a heating pad.

[This message was edited Sun Oct 12 0:02:40 PDT 2003 by AnotherLoverToo] I realize there is a lot of this zero star childishness here, that's a given considering the mentality of a few unnamed orgers I have come across. But Anotherlover don't it seem odd what your saying? If someone was happy that you were in pain, wouldn't they rate your thread a 5? btw, I won't vote because I have no idea what is appropriate ! ![]() [This message was edited Sun Oct 12 18:07:36 PDT 2003 by Childwithin] khaki

This is the sort of thread which shouldn't be voted on at all, given the lose-lose situation. Usually it doesn't bother me, but it's kind of a low blow when you're so jaded that you have to get in a shot when someone is in pain. It's sad that (most likely) the few individuals who rated the thread 0 stars did so for the plain fact that they think they know me well enough from a website not to like me.
