Arnold's Future Films... Will We Ever View Them The Same Way? This - not in the Politics & Religion Forum, cuz it's dealing with film.
Now that he's a "politician" and we've learned oh too much about him and his ideals... I wonder, will we all dash out to see his films now? Will he hold an audience anymore? I'll be too busy preoccupied with his politics to concentrate on the plot anymore..., not that you ever needed to really concentrate on 'em... You're thoughts? |

My opinion is that as he ages, his viability as an "action" hero becomes quite limited. The only (older) actors who last, are those who actually have some acting talent.
If he doesn't win this election, I think it's bad news for him all around.

If he doesn't win this election, I think it's bad news for him all around. Harrison Ford comes to mind. He's been an "action-hero", and he has incredible acting talent... hence, his reason for still being in demand, and bringing the bucks to the box office. Arnold? His career will be terminated. (since he's been throwing it around for the last few months... thought I'd join him) |

T1, T2 and True Lies are the only movies he's done I actually liked. I don't think he wants to continue to make movies, which is probably why he has chosen a different career. At least for now. Who knows what he'll do if he doesn't get elected.

In the "Rundown" as Arnold was leaving the club, it seemed like he was passing the "torch" off to "Th Rock"
Just my opinion | |
