You are all BANDWAGON jumping. I have been proudly displaying my Brewers logo since day one of the season and have been proud and passionate about my team all season long even through a last place finish.

I have started a few baseball threads over the last 6 months and with the exception of CarrieCee talking about the Sox they were ghost-towns. Now I look all over the org and I am seeing Yankee and Cubs logos everywhere and it just makes me laugh. Where have you been for the last 6 months?

I just wanted to vent my frustration with bandwagon jumping Go Brewers!

For the record the team I hate the most in baseball is the Yankees with the Cubs being a close second. Cubs fans are even worse, but that's another story.

had the Yankees gone 95 years without making it to the series, there'd be no Yankees fans can't say the same for the Cubs. sure, they're bums that sit in a stadium just for the social experience of it, but hey... if they didn't like the Cubs in the first place, they wouldn't put up with the shit that goes on out on the field

you're right. 99% of the time, I couldn't give a damn about baseball. I absolutely fucking hated playing it as a child, and I couldn't stand to watch it when I was younger. I always did like the Cubs, though (probably because I had no choice ), but it's so rare that they're wortwhile to talk about and follow, that's why I don't follow it. HO HUM. But I gotta root for the hometeam.

One thing I noticed going to the Cubs games here in Atlanta last week. Wherever all the fans came from, NOBODY knew who Ronnie Woo was. Actually there were one or two but other than that, nobody knew how to do a "CUBS WOOO!" cheer. If you dont know who Ronnie Woo is and have never experienced Ronnie Woo bumming beers after a Cubs game, you are NOT a Cubs fan.

Since I grew up in Florida before the Marlins came along and the only Baseball we had was WGN to my days living a couple blocks from Wrigley (Belmont El Stop), I have always been a lover of baseball and a lover of the Cubbies.

I moved to Atlanta from Orlando last year and I love that I have baseball around again. And unless the Cubbies are in town I am a Braves fan. Last week was torture but had to go with the lifelong favorites. now...

See - that's Harry. He hasn't left us. U know why? Because he's a true Cubs fan like ME!! Win or lose, the Cubs are my boys. The only thing I'm a bigger fan of is Prince, hence the avatar. Nuff said.

I remember watching the Cubs and Phillies play a 22-21 nail-biter in 1977. Would that qualify me as a true cub fan? I was only seven. When I was nine or ten, I would always run home at 1:15 - that is when the "Lead Off Man" would start. 1984 broke my heart. Since then, I have learned not to get excited about the Cubs. If they make the World Series and actually have a chance to win, then, I may become excited.
