well i know she likes me. i know it, i know it.
she was at the gym until about 9 and she wanted to go home to freshen up. i met her finally at 10.30. i called the Thai place around the corner and i managed to squeak in a table for 10.20 (it closed at 10.30). anyway, we had great conversation as usual.
purely genuinely, we kept stepping on each other's feet under the table. our knees would touch and we had this awkward nervous giggle and stuff. i'm looking all nerdy like.
we talked about our resepctive place's of origin (she's from Morocco, i'm from Bermuda) and our families, the usual stuff. we talked about lying as well which was funny cuz she told me a great story about how she lied to the police once.
we settled the bill (i paid) and walked away from the rezzo, chatting (which was nice again), then we stopped at the corner and chatted some more. i asked her about the copy of The Gold Experience album i gave her. she loves it! can you believe that? the girl i like, likes TGE! (keep the smart ass comments to yourself on that one)

anyway, we chatted some more about Jimmy Cliff, work (we work for the same company), my band, her mobile phone, and then we exchanged a kiss on the cheek (damn!) and then, right, we managed to talk about other stuff. she actually stopped me and started talking.
i told her i wanted to see her again and she agreed. so maybe we might see each other on friday night.
the whole time we were on that corner we both had these massive grins on our faces and i could tell that she didn't want it to end, cuz i certainly didn't. admittedly it was a bit awkward (the whole end of night thingy).
i found it to be a great night - even tho it was short and sweet.

Sounds genuinely sweet... That intial "She Likes Me!!" phase is wonderful to experience...

Live the love you find in life (if it gets to that point)...No matter if the love you find is a person, or a place or something you do...if you're one of the very few lucky ones, you'll find all three in your life at the same time.
