Old TV shows you're addicted to

... this probably won't work very well, being a transatlantic forum, but I have a secret passion for a few TV shows that I don't admit to very often.

The first is Upstairs Downstairs, which I'm watching right now.

The second is It Aint Half Hot Mum which really makes me laugh out loud

In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

Space: 1999 - it's currently airing Sundays on TV2 Zulu here in Denmark. It's my favorite scifi TV series because its the series that got me hooked on scifi to begin with back in the seventies. biggrin

And it's got some hot men too, like Alan Carter (Nick Tate). He's so manly. drool

Man, "Seinfeld" is gonna go down as the "I Love Lucy"/"Honeymooners" of my generation...I will never get tired of watching that show.

"All in the Family" is another one I love to watch - particularly the old episodes, before sharks were jumped with tavern purchases and precocious brat orphans.

"Sanford & Son" is another winner - I love me some Grady, Bubba, Rollo and Esther!

And "Good Times" was my favorite after-school addiction growing up - JJ and Thelma would teach me put-downs and insults every day, for me to use on my enemies the next day on the playground or the bus (don't act like you didn't cop your childhood insults from them!).

You didn't say how old they had to be sooo...I'll add some that aren't so old, but of course aren't in production anymore.

Seinfeld
Sanford and Son
The first 3 seasons of Ally McBeal
The Electric Company
The Jeffersons

But lately I haven't been watching much tv at all.
This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

Ahh, those were the days! "Good Times" is one of my all time favorites which I haven't seen in so many years along with "What's Happenin'".
