Help!!!

... it's a party which will have children present as well. I want ideas for unusual food and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), preferably those which look as ghoulish as possible ... thanks in advance

I would suggest hanging mutilated corpses from strong ropes above the heads of the guests... some dripping blood would be a nice touch as well.

The kids love this kind of thing.

For the kids, you gotta get the punch and drop the ubiquitous chunk of dry ice in it for that foggy, mist effect.

For the adults, you gotta tell them that they need to drink either tea, water or some sort of carbonated beverage... you don't need a bunch of drunks driving around and running over kids.

Whenever I had Halloween parties my mom would buy tootsie pops or blow pops and cover them with white tissue paper and tie them around the top of the stick. She would the draw little eyes on them with black marker...VOILA!...instant ghosts
