OK SO WAS THIS A DATE? i have fancied this girl for a little bit but before i could say anything to her she said to me that we should do something one day. SO! i asked her to a movie and we did. Matchstick Men - it's good. i even walked her home.
there is a bit of history here: i used to be her boss and i kind of still am even tho i have moved to a different part of the company. she has been helping me out with my new position, no pun intended. what Milty wants to know is: was that a date? where are the Org date experts? help me here.

There's a lot of stigmatism as 2 what is considered a 'date'. Hell I 4 1 dont know whether Ive been on dates or not and presuming they were has often led 2 me being let down and heartbroken being the sensitive chap I can be at times.
Ive learnt if nothing else is 2 always play it cool with these type of things. There is nothing worse than appearing desperate and jumping 2 conclusions cuz U will just push that person away.

Probably was a date, and she said that to let you know she was interested. But if you're her boss, be VERY careful about this. It's not proper to date her if she reports to you. Sorry.

I'm not sure. It sounds promising, and if you're keen on her, I wish you all the luck. Maybe, to be sure, you should tell her you enjoyed her company and ask for a repeat of that night and judge her reaction. Then, this time, try and shag her at the end of the night. That way you'll know for sure.

Honestly??...What difference does it make if it was or wasn't. ...Don't worry about finding the appropriate "label" for the experience...just enjoy the moment. If you like her, ask her out again.

Definately! It was nice of her 2 ask U. No matter WHO asks, if its "on", its a date. May the BELLS ring 4 U even when ur not in love.
