Anyone use Computer Radiation Filters on their monitor?

Was wonderin what the deal is about this.. is it worth it? whats up..

I have one of those here at work. I like it because no one can see what I am doing evillol.. (like posting on the org..hehehe) But its also good because I find I don't get headaches as much from sitting in front of the computer for 9 hours a day.

Nah, waste of time. I can see the point of anti-glare filters I suppose but you're better off repositioning your monitor so it reflects less light from windows etc. Radiation filters are just a silly thing for people to waste their money on - your monitor still spews out tons of radiation. Anyway, a PC monitor has far better shielding than a TV or a microwave oven. If you don't normally wear a hazmat suit whilst watching TV, chances are you'll survive without a radiation filter for your monitor too smile

Radiation filters are worthless nowdays. If monitors were that lethal, they would have to post a warning right on the box.

Some people like the antiglare or privacy protection screens, but I don't use them because when working with stuff like digital images, it causes the colors to be misleading.
