Something must be in the air. I've been noticing lots of people having nasty clients here at work. This has been going on for the last 2 weeks. I mean, this grumpy old man started YELLING at me today because we hadn't returned his call from yesterday afternoon. I was out sick yesterday with the worst migrain of my life. I ended up getting a ride home and puking as soon as I got in my apartment. I still feel a little weak from the whole day.


He didn't want to hear ANY excuse. He has ONE ad to put in our paper and I put in about 200 ads every week. His ad was in, it wasn't deadline yet and we just hadn't called him to confirm. I put him on hold and transfered him to a manager. I mean DAMN, I had just gotten in to work after being in bed ALL day yesterday. I tried to get a word in edge-wise. "I'm sorry, I was out sick...DON'T YELL AT ME!" Then I hit the hold button.
