can anyone help with a new car purchase?

I have a question about buying a new car.

Im going to look at a 2003 Jeep Liberty Freedom Edition today that was a demo car. It has about 2500 miles on it now.

The invoice price for the car, new, would be $20,884 and the sticker price on it is $20,500.

how much is it worth after taking off the 2500 miles?

I was thinking about offering $20,500 out the door after tax, tag, title and having them pay off my lease (about $1600). If they do not accept that offer I will just wait the 4 months until the lease is turned in and then buy something new. But I really like this vehicle and it isnt availible in 2004 models.

Is there a chance they could accept? Think they would even go lower than that?

Sounds about right. Maybe towards the end of the year, when they have their so called "clearance" sales; might be a good time. wink
