Falling asleep

What do you do to help yourself fall asleep at night? What are your musts?

For me, I must have a fan on, simply for the noise. I also must have no light. I usually sleep with 4 pillows- 2 under my head, one between my knees and one between my feet. I sleep on my side, with the lower arm strethed upward below the pillow and the other resting by my legs.

I've also made a CD that helps matters. It's filled with slow jams by Janet and does the trick every time. I usually start on track 8- "Lonely" and am always asleep before the disc is over.

The disc goes something like this after "Lonely."

"Feels So Right"
"Accept Me"
"Come Back to Me"
"Where Are You Now"
"Let's Wait Awhile"
"Someday Is Tonight"
"One More Chance"

I HAVE TO HAVE A FAN ON TOO!!! that's weird, IAN Most ppl hate it..but I have to have it on...even in the winter!! biggrin
I think of my "happy place" smile
I can't sleep with music on...
The TV CAN be on..but almost muted...
Sex is good before sleep, but I find myself WIRED after an orgasm...and can't sleep directly after...
I also CAN NOT sleep in a car or public transportation.
I LOVE to sleep on couches!!! sometimes, more comfortable than a bed!!

Sleepie Girl, EDIT!! yawn

Most Koreans honestly believe you can die of "fan-death".

This is caused by sleeping in a room with a fan on and
having the windows closed.

It is something about the fact that if the windows are closed you have no fresh circulating air therefore you will slowly convert all breathable oxygen in the room into carbon monoxide and suffocate in your sleep.

There are probably less than 10 rooms (which are totally sealed air-tight) on the entire planet in which that would actually be possible.

No logic behind it whatsoever but simply hilarious.

.

Something to think about ! lol

I've been sleeping with a fan on every night too. I can handle daylight and movement in the bed, but no sound.

i can not really sleep on anything but one of my sides, have to have that arm under my head, the other arm in front of me, usually clutching a pillow.

often, i will put antoher pillow between my legs, especially if it is hot.

soft music is very helpful
