24 The search machine doesn't work, so I don't know if this has been discussed, but I just watched the last episode of the first 24 season (yes, Germany is a bit behind).
Just wanted to know if some of you watch(ed) it, and what you thought of it? I think it's incredible, the end of the first season really left me baffled. I had never expected that Jack's wife would die. And then he just finds her, they count the three seconds down and that's it. Really something else. Was the second season just as good?

So Jack's wife dies at the end, huh?
Thanks, I guess I'll take the box-set back to Blockbuster then.

The only way I know of it is from that still photograph where they are walking in front of the half-buried Statue of Liberty at the end, discovering that they have been on earth all along. I guess that's why I never felt I needed to see it.

I'm worse - the only way I know that they're actually on Earth was from The Simpsons. Ohmygod, I was wrong - it was Earth all along I mean, like, where is the sun?

See, look Natty, this thread is already sinking because calldapplwonderey didn't follow through on it. He just left.
You can't do that. Threads need to be nurtured and cultivated. They are like our children.

I was hooked on 24 the first season, but I got so sick of them on the cellphones...Jack was not in a scene that he was not, at some point talking on the phone.
Get off the damn phone and kick some butt, please!! CAN YA HEAR ME NOW?

Get off the damn phone and kick some butt, please!! CAN YA HEAR ME NOW? 2nd session sucked, first rocked. I'll give the third a shot, but if it bores me like the last one did I'm a give up on that show. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |
