Que-Tal was a great mexican resteraunt in Sheffield. Unfortunatly Id say mexican isnt 2 popular here. They show this by adapting more Italian food in2 their menu.

Ummm, please stop jacking this thread. It is about Britain's crappy crime-ridden cities, not about its horrible, nauseating food.

Don't knock English food. Hey Natsume if you're in the South you should pass by The George pub just off of London Bridge (no, NOT the one with the Towers wink ). Apparently Shakespeare used to dig there once and it's been mentioned in some of Dickins' stuff. Oldest pub in London (foundations at least!). Anyway, just one example of good English pub food. I recommend the Steak and Ale pie. DON'T go to a Weatherspoons, unless it's a curry night.

Sorry to hear about your break in. Which area are you staying?

Yeah they're good for the money (i.e. if you're a student!)

For about a fiver you get some nice balti and rice, couple of poppadoms, couple 'o naan, and most importantly, some mango chutney!

Whenever I'm in London for a weekend, the Wetherspoons curry does me good as 'breakfast' on Sunday afternoons! wink
