My friend's four-year-old daughter is hilarious... My friend just emailed me and told me that our friend and her four-year-old daughter were playing blocks. The daughter looked up and said,
"Mother, there is a name that I think you should have named me. I heard it today and it's the most beautiful name in the world and you should have given it to me." My friend asked her what it was. "Kidney." This is a true story, btw... Kidney edit... [This message was edited Fri Sep 26 11:54:18 PDT 2003 by applekisses]

Guess why? why? We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. Maya Angelou

Guess why? Why? My Goddaughter is dark complected. She attended a parochial school, mostly Italians. One of the kids came up to her and told her that she couldn't play with Lauren because she has dark skin. The kids mom and dad told that she was never to associate with black children... Doesn't that just suck.. Well, needless to say Lauren and I had a great big huge talk. ^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^

Things like that just piss me off. What did you tell her?
