yay carrie! i am also trying to quit... down to 5 cigs a day. next week down to 3, etc

CarrieLee	Thanks guys! The weekends are going to kill me, my goal right now is to just go as long as I can without any. If I have a few on the weekends I"m not going to beat myself up about it. It's better than a pack a day.

i havent had a cigarette since july 8...and im telling ya...i feel soo much better...and this is coming from one who had a 18 year smoking habit!! i started smoking really early... eek

Nah...gum don't hide it. I cannot date a smoker. I can fuck and suck but no serious dating. I am physically affected by cigarrettes, I cannot breathe around it. When they had smoking in the bars here in Cali I used to party with my friends and endure the cigarrette smoke but I would wake up in the middle of the night gasping for air!! Because of the physical effects (and I hate the taste and smell too) I end up resenting the person for the habit.

Nope, no patch, no nuttin.

that is typically the preferred method, and the method taht works the best...as...you are making a decision to quit...and not using something else as a crutch...or becoming dependant on something else.
