...this is great news! you should try flushing yer system out too, drinking plenty of water, green teas stuff like that.
ooh yeah, you might want to strip everything down for a REAL fresh start: clean the car, wash down the walls, carpet cleaning the whole 9...you can do it!!!

ya know...when i had reached 35 days...i made the mistake of telling my grandmother that it had been 35 days since i had had a cigarette. she looked at me...and said, "ya know, the next time you come over...dont tell me how many days its been since youve had a cigarette...i think youd be better off not counting." now...my feelings were hurt by her saying that. i was a smoker 18 years...and for me to not have a cigarette for 35 days...was a HUGE accomplishment for me. just i believe not having one for 5 days i a great accomplishment. while i understand what your saying about not counting...at the same time...its a fucking hard habit to kick...and for me...counting days in the beginning gave me something to be proud of. i guess different people do things differently...but i say
MUTHER FUCKER I COUNT DAYS music woot! why not?? this is your accomplishment!!

Yeah I'm gonna stop counting...but right now it is a feeling of accomplishment. It was REAL hard last night but I did it. I just gotta keep thinking positive and that it's going to get easier.

But I am afraid of getting fat!

I've heard that you'll gain about five pounds (just because of the change in your metabolism) but, that it'll come right off after your body adjusts.
Just make sure you're not eating too many snacks...sugar-free gum should help biggrin

5lbs omfg Guess I'll just have to work out more, but that's ok. Major changes in store for CarrieCee...but I think it's all for the best!

Thanks for the support guys...I always passed up these threads before but it really does help for some strange reason.
